Understanding our cancellation and refund terms

At India Domestic Worker Provider (IDWP), we strive to provide the best service experience. This Cancellation & Refunds Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds related to our domestic worker placement services.

Important Notice

The ₹99 booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. This fee covers administrative costs, worker verification, profile matching, and platform maintenance.

1Booking Fee Policy

1.1 Non-Refundable Booking Fee

When you book a domestic worker through our platform, you pay a one-time booking fee of ₹99. This fee is non-refundable and covers:

  • Administrative and processing costs
  • Worker profile verification and background checks
  • Matching algorithm and profile sharing
  • Customer support and coordination
  • Platform maintenance and technology infrastructure

1.2 Why is the Booking Fee Non-Refundable?

Once you complete the booking, our team immediately begins working on your request:

  • Instant booking confirmation and database entry
  • Allocation of resources to match suitable workers
  • Verification of worker availability and credentials
  • Communication with workers and coordination
  • Preparation of worker profiles and documentation

These services are rendered immediately upon booking, making the fee non-refundable.

2Cancellation Policy

2.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation

You may cancel your booking at any time by contacting our support team. However:

  • The ₹99 booking fee will NOT be refunded
  • Cancellation applies regardless of the reason (change of mind, found alternative, etc.)
  • No partial refunds or credits will be issued

2.2 Cancellation Timeline

  • Before Profile Sharing: You can cancel before receiving worker profiles, but the booking fee remains non-refundable.
  • After Profile Sharing: You can cancel after receiving profiles, but the booking fee is still non-refundable.
  • After Interview: You can cancel after interviewing workers, but the booking fee remains non-refundable.
  • After Placement: If you cancel after the worker has started, the booking fee is non-refundable, and you may be responsible for any agreed-upon worker compensation.

3Worker Replacement Policy

We understand that sometimes the matched worker may not be the right fit. In such cases:

  • Free Replacement: We offer FREE worker replacement if you are not satisfied with the matched worker.
  • No Additional Fee: Replacement workers are provided at no extra cost.
  • Validity Period: Replacement requests must be made within 30 days of the initial booking.
  • Multiple Replacements: We will continue to provide alternative worker profiles until you find a suitable match.

3.1 How to Request a Replacement

  1. 1.Contact our support team via email, phone, or WhatsApp
  2. 2.Provide your booking ID and reason for replacement
  3. 3.Our team will share new worker profiles within 24-48 hours
  4. 4.Review profiles and schedule interviews with new candidates

4Refund Eligibility (Exceptional Cases)

While the booking fee is generally non-refundable, we may consider refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Service Not Delivered: If we are unable to provide any worker profiles within 7 days of booking (due to unavailability in your area).
  • Technical Error: If there was a technical error resulting in duplicate charges or incorrect payment processing.
  • Platform Fault: If our platform failed to process your booking correctly, and no services were initiated.

4.1 Refund Request Process

To request a refund in exceptional cases:

  2. 2.Provide your booking ID, payment receipt, and detailed reason
  3. 3.Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
  4. 4.If approved, refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days

5Refund Processing

5.1 Refund Method

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during booking
  • For UPI/Net Banking: Refund within 5-7 business days
  • For Credit/Debit Cards: Refund within 7-10 business days
  • For Wallets: Refund within 3-5 business days

5.2 Refund Notification

You will receive email and SMS notifications at each stage:

  • Refund request received
  • Refund approved/rejected
  • Refund initiated
  • Refund completed

6Payment Failures & Errors

6.1 Failed Transactions

If your payment fails during the booking process:

  • Your booking will NOT be confirmed
  • No charges will be deducted from your account
  • You can retry the payment or contact support

6.2 Duplicate Charges

If you were charged multiple times for the same booking:

  • Contact us immediately with transaction details
  • We will verify and refund the duplicate amount
  • Refund will be processed within 5-7 business days after verification
